When 86,000+ Watched Brian Scott Beat Georgia in 2001

On the ninth play of what would be a 67-yard drive, receiver Brian Scott climbed the ladder over Georgia's Bruce Thornton and ripped the ball away from the Bulldogs cornerback.

Georgia head coach Mark Richt, fifth from left wearing a headset, got an outstanding view of Scott's game-winning play with just 1:22 on the clock. Over 86,000 fans got a view of the upset as well.

On Sept. 8, 2001, No. 21 USC left Athens with a 14-9 victory.
